Inspired by the tools of ancient Māori, the toki (adze) is a symbol of strength, control, determination, focus, honour and achievement. Carved from Raukaraka, a rare form of the kawakawa variety of pipiwharauroa, this stone is light olive green in colour, streaked with subtle shades of yellow and spotted with flecks of black.
